I have seen people embed steel t-slot tracks in epoxy granite tables I could embed steel plates, T-slot tracks and some aluminum extrusions

But, does anyone have an opinion of a T-slot cut into the wood vs T-track? Did it work out for you or is it more trouble than its worth?
